Book Signing at Indigo, Downtown Vancouver

I have another book event coming up, this time closer to home. On Saturday, September 17th from 4-6pm, I, along with Andy Zuliani (Last Tide) will be signing copies of our Newest Press debut novels.

Have you got a copy of The Cine Star Salon? If so, this is your chance to have it autographed. You can ask me questions too. About the book, I mean. If you haven’t grabbed a copy, I’d be so happy to see you at Indigo (1033 Robson Street) and sign your brand new book. It’ll make a great holiday gift for someone who love to read about family dynamics, difficult friendships, immigrants’ lives, laced with humour.

It’s been almost a year since I launched my book, when I started telling people that I am a novelist. I’m used to it now, it’s just like mentioning another job (though the HR job at the University still gets first mention, maybe it’s a paycheque thing.) But there is that glow of joy when I walk by the neighbourhood library or a bookstore, from the knowledge that copies of my book are in there. My name on the cover. I hope to stay grateful and modest. Pretty sure there are far more gifted and wiser voices that never had the privilege.

Hope to see you on the 17th at Indigo on Robson Street, downtown Vancouver.
